Hi guys! One of my most favorite things in the whole wide world to talk about is music. I’m probably listening to music 90% of my day, so I thought it would be fitting to write my blog post on music. Each month or so, I'll make a new playlist of some songs I’ve been digging lately, or just some classic favorites of mine, and post it on here for you to listen to! I’ll also rant about how great some of the songs are, give recommendations on artist that are similar to the ones on the playlist, talk about my experiences with the songs, etc. I hope you all give the playlist a listen, and maybe find some new artist to support!

A few songs into the playlist I put Someday by the Growlers. The Growlers will always be great. A few weeks ago I woke up one night and could not fall back to sleep, so I decided to listen to their whole discography. Not to be dramatic but it was probably the best decision of my life. A few songs down is Don't Be a Fool by Diners. Diners is a super cool and cute local artist. I’ve seen Tyler perform live before and he is so effortlessly talented it is insane. I highly recommend to go and listen to more of his work it is all pretty magical. Ulysses and the Sea by Papooz is a super cute lil song. It reminds me of a Wes Anderson film. Ann Wants to Dance, another song by Papooz on this playlist, is a true bop. Whenever I listen to it, I just want to dance around my room! Happy by Mitski took a little to grow on me if I’m being honest, but I fell in love with it after watching the music video, you guys should definitely check it out.

We also got some new Mac Demarco on there and one of my favorite Current Joys songs. Nick Rattigan (Current Joys) is one of my favorite musicians of all time, he's a genius and a great performer live. To finish the playlist, I ended with West End Girls by Pet Shop Boys. This is one of my favorite 80’s songs, I think the sound is really fresh and unique.

I didn’t cover every song, because I could honestly ramble about music forever! I’m looking forward to my next post so I can share some more talented and wonderful artist with you guys. I hope y’all are listening at home and enjoyed this month's post.:-)
